Upon review, one key process indicator was not routinely tracked in a systematic fashion across the plant sites. Many teams had a different definition of ‘uptime’ and ‘yield’.
The processes were reviewed in depth, and a standardized definition of the KPIs were developed. The team ensured that measuring systems were in place to accurately track and report the data, and personnel were trained on the definitions and how to track the data and view the control charts.
